MobiApps set to revolutionalise telematics industry

BANGALORE -- MobiApps is all set to launch its in-car navigation system, the m-Drive and an anti-theft device, the m-Jack. Sensing market opportunities in improved communication networks, and growing population of cars, MobiApps is developing products based on its telematics platform.

Telematics enables remote access to vehicle data over a wireless network. The m-Drive effectively employs telematics to offer a wide range of value-added services to customers, such as real-time driving directions with digital maps and voice prompts, points of interest and user defined natural voice prompts. It also offers easy upgrades to include MP3 player, Internet browsing and e-mails. More importantly, m-Drive can be fitted as an after market fitment in cars.

Keeping in mind the statistics revealed by the market survey that safety and entertainment are at the center of consumer demand, MobiApps has focused on catering to these requirements. The m-Jack makes the product more robust, besides providing safety to its users. MobiApps is already talking with automakers for OEM production.
