achieves TL9000 quality certification
ISRAEL
-- ECI Telecom Ltd. recently announced that its key
product platforms had received certification for the
prestigious and exclusive TL9000 standard. The certification
reflects the highest level of commitment for quality
to ECI's customers.
By
achieving the TL9000 certification, ECI demonstrates
its continuing commitment to meeting the highest standards
in the telecom industry. The standard was developed
by the QuEST forum (The Quality Excellence for Suppliers
of Telecommunications Leadership), which represents
partnership between service providers and suppliers
to implement requirements to improve the quality of
telecom products and services. TL9000 expands and adapts
the ISO9001:2000 standard requirements to the telecom
industry.
The
TL9000 benefits carriers, service providers, their customers
and vendors. Globalisation of the telecom industry is
one of the forces driving the need to apply a common
set of quality requirements throughout the supply chain.
The standard encourages communications and partnership
