Tata Telecom wins award for CRM and EVE market
NEW DELHI -- Tata Telecom, the country's leading enterprise
converged communications solutions provider, won the
Frost & Sullivan's market engineering award for
market leadership in interaction customer relationship
management (iCRM) market in India.
During
the award presentation ceremony, Anand Rangachary, India
deputy director, Frost & Sullivan traced the Tata
Telecom success to its 'strategy of providing a total
solutions approach through alliances and partnerships'.
This strategy, according to him, placed Tata Telecom
in a strong position to benefit from the future growth
opportunities.

Mehta, vice-chairman, Tata Telecom who received the
award termed the success 'an endorsement by our customers'.
Tata Telecom represents international names in the field
like Avaya, NICE and LG. The company commanded over
one third of the total market in iCRM this year. It
has also emerged as one of the strongest and upcoming
enterprise voice equipment provider in the country.
According to Manoj Menon, director of IT and Telecom
practice, Frost & Sullivan, 'it has set new benchmarks
for growth in this industry'.
The
analyst firm found that Tata Telecom led the industry
with 74 per cent market share in automatic call distribution,
38 per cent in interactive voice response systems, 52
per cent in CRM voice messaging system and 48 per cent
in computer telephony interaction. In call monitoring
software the company represents a global leader NICE
Systems in India and is a clear leader with over 35
per cent share.
Tata
Telecom has 75 per cent of India's top business houses
utilising its products. The list has big names like
General Electric, Citibank, Indian School of Business,
Spectramind, Apollo Hospitals, Oberoi Hotel, and State
Bank of India.
The
selection is based on an objective market engineering
methodology and not on consumer satisfaction. The three
criteria are market share leadership, sterling performance
and strategic excellence.
