HCL Frontline launches Toshiba Tablet PC

NEW DELHI -- HCL Frontline has launched Toshiba's Portege 3500 series Tablet PC in India. Toshiba's mobile Intel pentium III processor-M 1.33 GHz based wireless convertible Tablet PC combines the power and functionality of a notebook computer, while adding the simplicity and convenience of pen and paper.

Portege 3500 series is integrated with Wi-Fi, bluetooth wireless connectivity options and 10/100 networking. It will enable the users to share information and access Internet connections in different places like hotels, airports, home or similar places at anytime. The product also includes secure digital (SD) media slot as well as integrated Compact Flash to maximise workforce productivity.

Users can directly write on the screen with a digital pen to create drawings and documents, write notes, and send e-mail--all in their own handwriting. They can save their handwritten messages as it is or convert them to typed text.

The new Toshiba Tablet PC is priced at Rs. three lakh and comes with a three year international warranty.
