Lucent to
supply enhanced media server
HONGKONG
-- Lucent Technologies has announced that three more
companies have integrated the EXS converged services
platform (CSP) media server into their network solutions.
It will enable them to offer next-generation voice and
data services to their customers.
The
companies include: Interactive Technologies Limited,
a Chinese unified communications provider located in
Hong Kong; Advanced TeleSoft Limited, a leading Hong
Kong telecommunications solutions provider; and Macklev
Technologies, a prepaid calling and enhanced services
provider located in the Philippines. All three companies,
along with 28 others, were recently accepted into Lucent's
open network platforms (ONP) partner program.
Lucent's
EXS CSP is an 'any-generation' enhanced media server
and is a part of Lucent circuit-to-packet portfolio.
The CSP supports today's revenue-generating circuit
switched network services as well as programmable packet-based
network solutions. Its open development environment
enables developers and service providers to cost effectively
develop new innovative applications on platforms already
deployed in the network.
