BenQ launches FP783 LCD monitor with
Web camera, speakers
BANGALORE
-- BenQ recently launched India's first 12ms monitor
with Web camera and speakers. The BenQ FP783 for its
eye catching innovative butterfly-wing design, contrary
to the normal slim square has recently won the Business
Week 2004 Industrial Design Excellence Award (IDEA)
as well. Priced at Rs 39,000/- the FP783 will be available
across India.
The
FP783 is a stylish, 17-inch LCD monitor especially designed
for multimedia applications; features astonishing response
time of 12ms that produces smooth, flicker-free images
along with a slim bezel and sophisticated back cover.
It is also equipped with an external speaker module
2Wx2 and SRS sound effect and an optional USB 1.1 300K
pixel webcam. It comes with brightness of 300 nits,
500:1 contrast ratio, 1,280x1,024 resolution and a 16.2
million-color palette. The FP783 offers amazingly clear
and sharp picture quality provides optimum visual performance
and quality to users.
The
FP783 incorporates D-Sub and DVI input connectors, and
a USB 2.0 high-speed hub. With BenQ's iKey, the FP783
automatically calibrate the input signal and adjust
the monitor for the best display image. It also offers
140/140-degree viewing angles, VESA wall mount and Kensington
lock support. The 300K-pixel Web camera with USB I/F
also meets the requirement of instant messaging applications
like MSN and Yahoo Messenger. With a wider viewing area
(diagonal 55 degrees) and powerful focus ability (2cm~infinity)
the performance is significantly superior.
With
its 12ms response time the BenQ FP783 is best suited
for lifestyle conscious, gaming enthusiast, live business
chats and for huge setups, such as the BPOs. The response
time reduces time lag of approximate 25 per cent and
brings user closer to the real time.
