Yang
brings experience to Axesstel
UNITED STATES -- Axesstel, Inc. has appointed Yang Seung-Taik,
the former Korean minister of Information and Communication,
as the newest member of the company's board of directors.
Seung-Taik will contribute strong strategic leadership
and global telecommunications expertise to Axesstel.

Yukie, president and CEO, Axesstel, said: "Yang
brings extensive experience to Axesstel, particularly
in the telecommunications regulation field. His knowledge
and expertise, combined with his widespread network
of global telecommunications contacts will further enhance
Axesstel's success in the markets and help guide the
company's global strategies."
Yang
brings over 30 years of telecommunications industry
experience to Axesstel. Additionally, his impeccable
background includes advisor of Science and Technology
to the President of Korea, minister of Ministry of Information,
Communication and President of Information and Communications
University (ICU). Yang was president of the Electronics
and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI), a
non-profit government-funded research organisation that
has been at the forefront of technological excellence
for over 25 years.
Yang
earned his bachelor's of science degree in electrical
engineering at Seoul National University in Korea. He
received his master's of science in electrical engineering
at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and
achieved his doctorate in electrical engineering at
the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn.
Axesstel

and the integration with 802.11 and emerging 3G and
