Telecom Srpske to supply billing system

CZECH REPUBLIC -- STROM Telecom has recently concluded a contract with 'Telecom Srpske', a telecom operator of the Serbian republic in Bosnia and Herzegovina, for supplying its billing system, TelBill. It is to provide 300,000 fixed-line subscribers of this operator in a former Yugoslavian country.

TelBill is a powerful and flexible automation tool for billing. It supports all kinds of existing services. Suitable for small, large and medium operators, it can be adapted to meet present requirements. The main advantages of TelBill include consolidated billing, Support of mutual settlements (inter-billing) among telecom operators and support of realtime billing (hotbill).

Czech based STROM Telecom produces a spectrum of modern telecommunication equipment, information systems and technologies designed to improve the existing telecommunication facilities. Established in 1993, it currently employs more than 500 dedicated specialists working in over 15 STROM telecom subsidiaries throughout Central and Eastern Europe. An image of a beautiful, sprawling maple-tree adorning a hilltop serves as its trademark. The word "Strom," from Czech, translates into English as "Tree," hence the trademark.

It also has two groups of products. The Medio is a family of digital switching systems consisting of powerful communications systems with an extensive range of telecommunication possibilities. The Foris (TMN/OSS) family of OSS integrates the information and technological systems. It takes care of full operational support -- from automation of data collection and management of network elements, to WEB based customer care and connection to financial systems.
