China Mobile soft-switch network ensures QoS

BEIJING -- China Mobile's soft-switch network, constructed by Huawei Technologies recently got through the traffic peak on the Spring Festival Eve with an excellent index performance on each function. The network managed to carry three times the traffic that it usually does and assured satisfying quality of communications.

China Mobile's soft-switch network, the biggest mobile soft-switch network in the world covering 31 provinces in China, succeeded in delivering the best wishes of over 200 million users to the blessed people peacefully and stably. The traffic is reported to have reached about 0.7erl per channel equivalent, regarded as the highest design traffic in the industry. The Spring Festival Eve is known as the toughest test for switch equipment suppliers in China.
