Microsoft expands operations in India
NEW DELHI -- Microsoft Corp. has expanded its operations
in India through Microsoft Business Solutions (MSB),
which focuses on delivering connected business applications
to small, midsize and corporate businesses worldwide.
MSB
offers two enterprise resource planning applications
to the Indian marketplace: Microsoft Business Solutions
- Axapta and Microsoft Business Solutions - Navision.
The expanded solutions reflect the company's increasing
global presence and commitment to the Asia Pacific
market. "MSB has a line of strong products that
help to automate business processes. Even small and
midsize companies in India will see how these solutions
can make a difference to their businesses," said

The
products remain available in India via Navision Software
India Pvt. Ltd., which has been a distributor of Navision
products in India since 2001. Navision Software India
is now assuming responsibility for these products
under the Microsoft Business Solutions umbrella, in
co-operation with Microsoft India. This includes local
support of the MSB customer base as well as authorisation,
certification, training and support for value-added
resellers, consultants, systems integrators and solution
developers. Other MSB products will be distributed
through other Microsoft India channels.
