EMC
plans multi-million dollar investment in India
NEW
DELHI -- EMC, the world leader in information storage,
recently announced its strategy to fortify presence
and gain market leadership in India. It will focus on
strengthening the local partnerships, enhancing the
best-in-class global services operation in India and
expand its India software development and support center
in Bangalore. To implement this strategy, EMC plans
to make a multi-million dollar investment in India.
It
has an established partner network in India comprising
of global partners such as Dell and Datacraft and an
Indian network of integrators such as Wipro, HCL and
Tata Elxsi. Two service logistics and support facilities
supplement these partners enabling EMC to respond faster
to customer needs. EMC's India software development
and support center in Bangalore employs highly skilled
software professionals and contributes to the development
of the ControlCenter family, PowerPath and other intelligent
software products to extend its lead in automated networked
storage.
