Krone launches HighBand 25
BANGALORE
-- KRONE Communications, the leading network cable and
connectivity supplier and provider of high-performance
network solutions for voice and data communication applications,
recently launched the HighBand 25, a high density 25
pair cross-connect solution that sets new standards
in network performance and functionality. KRONE was
acquired by ADC in May 2004.
The
Category-6-compliant Highband 25 solution is an integral
part of ADC KRONEs TrueNET solution and was developed
as a result of increasing need for high-density cross-connect
cabling to support emerging applications such as 10Gb
ethernet, VoIP and broadband.
The
Highband 25 solution features zero-bit error performance,
category 6 component compliance, superior cable management,
patch by exception (PBE), isolation facility and innovative
patch cord design. The solution is a highly versatile
product with features that no other equivalent in this
category offers.
Provided
with color code for ease of termination, the HighBand
25 module allows six four-pair (Cat6) cables to be terminated.
It is the only 25 pair Cat6 module to offer disconnect
facility. The solution is combined with innovative patch
cordage, superior cable management, excellent labeling
and the ever-reliable ADC Krone LSA-PLUS contact principle.
The
High band 25 features a unique center port that acts
as a test port to provide "look both ways"
testing capability without removing wire. This port
allows simple circuit monitoring through test cord.
It is available as individual component as well as complete
system, consisting of unique wire termination blocks,
cable managers, patch cords, mounting frames, label
holders and covers.
