Iomega redefines CD/DVD burning
NEW DELHI -- Iomega recently launched the Iomega DVD
internal 4X dual-format drive. This DVD±RW/CD-RW
drive can read and record CD-R, CD-RW, DVD+R, DVD+RW,
DVD-R, DVD-RW as well as read DVD-ROM and CD-ROM.
Claimed to feature the fastest DVD±RW burn speeds
on the market today, the drive said to be the perfect
storage solution for the creative enthusiast who enjoys
videos, music, and photos. Users can now save and share
their creations on DVD or CD, using a single drive.
Key features include protecting videos, music and photos
by transferring them to DVDs and CDs, recording up to
4.7GB of data files on a DVD disc, and up to two hours
of high-quality DVD video (three hours regular video)
on a DVD or one hour of video on VCD media. The users
can create and edit video DVD discs and view them on
most DVD players. In addition, they can also create
and share music on CDs and play them on home, portable
or car stereos.
The
drive is also equipped with buffer UnderRun protection
that prevents the inadvertent destruction of blank DVDs
or CDs during DVD-R or CD-R sessions. In addition, a
software suite that includes Iomega Hotburn Pro for
easy DVD and CD-burning and customisation, Sonic MyDVD
for video-editing, Sonic CinePlayer for highest quality
video playback available for PCs, MusicMatch Jukebox
music management and Adobe ActiveShare photo management
software, as well as Iomega Automatic Backup for reliable
and hassle-free back-up to DVD or CD discs.
