Nokia supplies cdma2000 1X handsets to Reliance
SINGAPORE -- Nokia has begun deliveries of the cdma2000/1x
Nokia 2280 handsets to Reliance Infocomm. Based on a
Nokia-designed cdma2000/1x chipset, the handset combines
ease of use with style and personalisation options,
and is designed to cater to first time users who desire
a relevant feature set optimised for voice and text
messaging.
With
its soft-edge stylish design, white LED backlight, attractive
interchangeable Xpress-one colour covers, a calendar,
an alarm clock and downloadable ringtones, the Nokia
2280 offers a variety of lifestyle and personalisation
options. Other features include a built-in phonebook
that supports up to 250 entries, high-speed data support
and full text messaging capability including predictive
text input.
