ND SatCom Market Leader in Broadcast, Media Solutions

NEW DELHI -- ND SatCom, an SES ASTRA company and a leading global supplier of satellite-based broadband VSAT, broadcast and defence communications network solutions, recently announced the implementation of several innovative broadcast projects in Romania. Dieter Dreizler, sales director of the company, emphasised that since its market entry in 2000, ND SatCom has become the market leader for innovative broadcast and media solutions in Romania.

"Our business activities in the Romanian broadcast community have become quite diversified. As an outstanding example, ND SatCom recently integrated the biggest productionSNG in the company's history for a privately owned TV station. The vehicle was constructed for six cameras and cutting facilities", stated Dieter Dreizler.

The company also delivered SNG uplinks based on ND SatCom's SkyRAY antenna subsystems for a public TV station and an SNG service provider. Additionally, a 6.3m earth station and a 3.7m antenna facility supporting a cable operator's uplink process, and three 3.7m uplink stations for a playout TV application of a pay TV channel were implemented.
