Advantech offers transceivers in all standard bands

UNITED KINGDOM -- Advantech is offering its entire family of transceivers, which operate in the C-, X-, Ku-, and Ka-bands. Designed for continuous operation in the harshest outdoor environments, these transceivers are offered in comprehensive, as well as single integrated packages.

As all transceivers are redundant ready, an additional redundancy controller is not required. Advantech's high performing transceivers are compact in size, easy to install, and cutting-edge in design. Each unit is tested in an environmental chamber over the full operating temperature to ensure exceptional reliability under all conditions. These are available in 70/140MHz or L-band IF configurations, and a range of power outputs. Advantech's latest transceivers provide exceptional technical performance, superior linearity, phase noise, and stability.

Advantech is also offering a high-speed satellite modem, the AMT-70. This modem forms the basis of a two-way communication system over a complete range of 8Kbps up to 140Mbps data rate satellite circuits. It offers BPSK, QPSK, OQPSK, 8PSK, and 16QAM modulations. Configured for transmit/receive, transmit-only or receive-only variants, the AMT-70 has a modular construction.

The modem modulates carriers directly at L-band, resulting in an efficient uplink system with an extremely pure output spectrum. Offered in 70MHz and 140MHz versions, it is possible to supply DC power and 10MHz reference for powering and synchronising a block-up converter (BUC) and block-down converter (BDC) or low noise block amplifier (LNB).
