Veraz's media gateway singled out
for its excellence
UNITED
STATES -- Technology Marketing Corp.'s Internet Telephony
magazine recently selected Veraz Networks' I-Gate 4000
PRO media gateway as the product of the Year for 2003.
The
I-Gate 4000 PRO features in-house DSP technology, which
offers the industry's highest compression capability.
The DSP technology responds quickly to global market
customisation and flexibility needs, supports multiple
networks and user service solutions such as domestic
and international long distance services, tandem switching,
Class 4/5-switch replacement, and PBX/PABX access.
Offering
carrier-grade reliability with five 9s, the I-Gate 4000
PRO media gateway delivers wireline voice quality to
NGN packet telephony solutions. The voice-quality capabilities
guarantee or exceed toll quality standards, meeting
that of the PSTN. The gateway is field-proven for fax
handling (T.38), modem support, high jitter, and capable
of direct termination of SS7 links. The I-Gate series
was recently tested in the speech quality tests by ETSI
(The European Telecommunications Standards Institute).
It achieved superior results for voice quality testing.
