Sony Ericsson launches T600 triple-band GSM phone

NEW DELHI -- Sony Ericsson has introduced the T600, a triple-band GSM mini mobile phone, supporting 900/1,800/1,900MHz. One of the smallest and lightest phones available - weighing 63g, it features text messaging with pictures and sounds (EMS), an easy-to-use calendar, WAP and an extensive phone book. It supports talk time from 1.5 hours to five hours and standby time from 80 hours to 180 hours. The GSM phone comes in Moonlight Silver and Marine Blue.

There is a gallery of expressive pictures in various themes and it is easy to include a picture in a text message. It is also possible to add sounds to a message, such as claps or chimes, or compose a ring melody and send as a sound attachment.

The T600 features entertaining games. Some of those even provide physical feedback to players with vibrations. It can be further personalized by attaching a wrist strap or mascot to its loophole. The phone measures 92x41x20mm and is priced at Rs 12,995.
