Audicodes introduce new and innovative products and
services
UNITED SATES -- AudioCodes Ltd., a leading provider
of VoIP technologies and systems, has announced the
launch of the AudioCoded Element Management System
(EMS). EMS will manage AudioCodes' Mediant, Stretto
and MediaPack media gateway platforms. The Web-based
EMS is designed to simplify operations, provide easy-to-use
interfaces and integrate smoothly into the overall
operations of a carrier-class packet voice network.
The
open, standards-based AudioCoded EMS solution provides
integrated GUI, JAVA RMI and SNMP interfaces to enable
integration into NEP and system integrator's network
management systems. The product supports multiple
languages, and can be deployed globally.
AudioCodes
also announced the availability of a VoIP media gateway
cPCI platform that offers a T3 interface. The TP-2810
is one of the first Voice over Packet (VoP) cPCI Media
Gateway to offer the full use of T3 PSTN connections
with a capacity of 672 independent Low Bit Rate (LBR)
universal channels. TP-2810 is hostless and offers
great flexibility for managing and implementing a
distributed gateway architecture that separates call-processing
functions from media streaming functions. It results
to better redundancy, scalability and higher system
availability. TP-2810 was developed for OEM use in
central office and large enterprise applications.
In addition to these two, Audicodes has also announced
the launch of its Mediant 5000 Media Gateway. This
mid-density Media Gateway meets the growing demands
of Network Equipment Providers (NEPs) and softswitch
vendors for a solution that addresses the cost, feature
and reliability requirements of both service providers
(for small to medium POPs) and enterprises with large
campuses and call centers.
When
coupled with a call server or softswitch, the feature
rich Mediant 5000 can address a variety of applications
including IP PBX, IP Centrex and Cable Telephony.
The 5U Mediant 5000 supports up to 2880 channels and
is designed with redundancy to meet service provider
availability and reliability requirements.
