Tata Indicom launches colour handsets
at Rs. 999
NEW
DElHI -- Tata Indicom recently announced an extension
of its range of handsets by launching 'Rave' and 'Blade'
colour handsets from Kyocera. The new colour handsets,
with their music genre themes, bring to India for the
first time, the unique feature of a built-in keypad
activated flashlight with a 4,000-colour screen and
polyphonic ring tones. These are available at an upfront
payment of Rs. 999 only, on the installment option.
Customers also have the option of buying the handset
on the full cash payment option, where the colour handsets
are available at Rs. 6,999 only. Customers opting for
installment option would have to pay 24 easy monthly
installments of Rs 299.
As
an introductory offer, Tata Indicom customers stand
to take home exciting free gifts on purchase of the
new handsets. Tata Indicom subscribers purchasing either
of the handsets on down payment, get a Kodak KB 12 camera
worth Rs. 900 free! The gift offer has also been extended
to subscribers opting for the handset installment scheme
under tariff schemes 599 and above, who get a Titan
wristwatch worth Rs. 900 free. Rave and Blade will be
exclusively available through Tata Indicom across key
cities in Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, New Delhi, Tamil
Nadu, Karnataka and Gujarat.

on the new offering, a Tata Teleservices Ltd. (TTSL)
spokesperson said: "Our product team is always
looking for innovative and exciting products that will
offer the customers more value. Over time, a mobile
handset has gone beyond just a voice device and today
acts as an organiser, computer, alarm clock and fashion
statement! The flashlight is a unique concept coming
to India for the first time and we see the Rave and
Blade as handsets that offer great utility and plenty
of style to their users."
Rave
comes with changeable faceplates to customise the look
of the handset to match the user's attitude and changing
moods throughout the day. The 'Blade' is a stunning
handset with sharp angular looks, a brilliant-blue backlit
keypad and exciting colour screen shades to suit different
occasions.
