ACE*COMM, Giza to provide mediation
solution for Telecom Egypt
GENEVA
-- ACE*COMM, a global provider of advanced operations
support systems (OSS) technologies, and Giza Systems,
a leading systems integrator in the Middle East, have
received a contract extension to provide local and remote
data collection mediation solutions, along with a centralised
network management system to perform advanced data collection
functions and transaction record processing for Telecom
Egypt (TE). This new contract extension to the project
now spans all of Egypt, includes data collection hardware,
software and services for over 400 network elements,
and is valued by ACE*COMM in the millions of US dollars
over the project lifespan.
Giza
Systems selected ACE*COMM's industry-class data-collection
mediation solutions for its proven data-capture capabilities
to collect, store and process call detail records (CDRs),
as well as traffic and accounting data, in real-time.
Giza Systems' scope includes the design and implementation
of the comprehensive solution, as well as the integration
of the varying components of the project. TE managers
will use the ACE*COMM solutions that are known for their
unsurpassed reliability, speed, and processing capabilities.
