Amdocs Launches v4.0 of commerce payments
product
GENEVA
-- Amdocs, the world's leading provider of billing and
CRM, announced the general availability of v4.0 of its
commerce payments product. It enables mobile payment
by authorising and charging for third-party content,
commerce and applications in real-time, while providing
end users with a simple and secure transaction experience
and a flexible choice of payment methods.
Already
incorporating advanced architecture to enable unique
plug-in integration with legacy and third-party systems,
outstanding carrier-grade capabilities, easily configurable
authorisation flow and compatibility with industry standards,
Amdocs commerce payments offers key new features, including
software development kit (SDK) for easy, cost-effective
partner integration; stored value account (SVA) capabilities
enabling dedicated accounts for content and commerce
expenditures; pay-per-use and subscription-based purchase
options; ability to apply user-defined spending limits
for enhanced user control over content and commerce
expenditures; and pre-integration with the Amdocs enabler
product to allow complex rating and cross product discounts
for content and commerce services.
Amdocs'
commerce payments enables operators and their content
and commerce partners to increase mutual profits and
improve cash flow from mobile payment transactions.
The SDK facilitates simplified, low-cost integration
with third party systems, thereby attracting more partner
opportunities and creating additional revenue sources.
The SVA capabilities lower the risk associated with
introducing new premium mobile services. In addition,
new user access and payment control for subscription-based
services promote longer-term usage and expenditure,
increase service delivery options, and serve to further
secure cash flow.
The
product ensures enhanced customer satisfaction and loyalty
with new flexible authentication rules allowing users
to easily purchase and pay for content and commerce
services with the fewest number of keystrokes. In addition,
lifetime integration with the Amdocs enabler product
results in marketing advantages through bundled offerings
and significant cost of ownership savings through the
consolidation of convergent billing, rating and payment
capabilities across all services and payment options,
on a single carrier-grade platform.
excelcom,
a leading mobile operator in Indonesia, implemented
Amdocs enabler earlier this year, and is now adding
the Amdocs commerce payments product, realising significant
cost of ownership savings.
Werner
Noz, director, network operations, excelcom, said: "Amdocs
commerce payments allows us to effectively capitalise
on our existing investments to drive new profits from
online transactions while eliminating any associated
risks. Offering end users a secure payment channel utilising
their prepaid balance, as well as real-time advice-of-charge
(AoC), Amdocs commerce payment ensures maximum user
control and satisfaction, encouraging usage of new partner-based
offerings and driving higher AMPU."
Michael
Matthews, chief marketing officer, Amdocs, added: "Amdocs'
commerce payments provides clear market advantages for
revenue creation in the emerging premium value chain.
With a comprehensive services and products portfolio
and exceptional market vision, Amdocs is the only vendor
that can offer leading providers a single point-of-contact
for unmatched choice, flexibility and carrier-grade
power to help them drive profitability and address the
current and future business imperatives of the mobile
marketplace."
