SureWest selects Jataayu to power
mobile Internet, messaging services
BANGALORE
-- Jataayu Software, a leading vendor of mobile infrastructure
software solutions, recently announced that SureWest
Communications, USA had chosen Jataayu's wireless Internet
and messaging solutions. SureWest will deploy Jataayu's
WAP gateway and Multimedia Messaging Services Center
(MMSC) to offer its subscribers new product offerings
and business models, which would include WAP push and
multimedia messages.
This
new capability would enable them to push personalized
WAP and MMS content to its subscribers, while creating
awareness of data services and stimulating usage. Jataayu's
gateway products are among the most interoperable and
standards compliant gateways in the present market,
providing a complete and integrated solution for WAP
1x, WAP 2.0 and MMS capabilities, thereby increasing
the market for operators and helping them to differentiate
their offerings.
