Michel Susai awarded
INDIA -- NeoAccel, a pioneering innovator of next-generation Internet security solutions, announced that Michel Susai, the company’s Chairman and CEO, has been honored with the Shaping Info Security 2006 Award. Susai is recognised for his work on NeoAccel’s high-performance SSL VPN-Plus and its underlying ICAA technology and is one of 16 technology and business executives to be honored with this prestigious award by Silicon Valley Communications, publishers of the Info Security Products Guide.
"Enterprises continue to require high-performance security that empowers their employees with remote access to their critical applications and networked resources," said Rick Justice, chief technology editor, Info Security Products Guide. "Our award program and annual publications play a vital role in keeping end-user organisations informed on the best companies and products to use in securing information assets. In honoring industry leaders such as Michel Susai of NeoAccel with the Shaping Info Security 2006 award, we are confident that both the industry and end users will gain much from his significant contributions to the world’s information security efforts."
"This award is a testament to my passion for converting pure science and innovation on highly scalable large-scale network systems to commercially viable security products to benefit enterprises," said Michel Susai. "On behalf of NeoAccel, it’s a great honor to receive recognition for our SSL VPN-Plus product, the first solution to provide IPSec levels of performance with the enhanced security features and benefits of SSL VPN."
Michel Susai is an inventor who has developed patent-pending technologies that provide fundamental means of optimising and accelerating the performance of the Internet's underlying TCP/IP networking protocols. Susai launched NeoAccel to address the fundamental problems associated with existing SSL VPN technology.
In 1997, Susai founded NetScaler, a leading innovator of intelligent network systems that up to 75 percent of Internet users go through each day to visit the world's highest traffic websites such as Google, MLB.com, MSN and Ticketmaster. Susai is the primary patent holder of NetScaler’s core Request Switching technology. NetScaler was acquired in 2005 by Citrix Systems for more than US $300 million. Susai has more than 15 years of leadership, management, engineering and business development experience.
Prior to NetScaler, Susai was responsible for developing several Internet infrastructure scalability products at Sun Microsystems. Prior to joining Sun, Susai led the development of the Internet strategy initiative at Unisys Corporation and architected many Operating systems for IBM(AIX), Intel(Paragon Supercomputer), Pyramid(Sieamens, MPP).
NeoAccel's flagship product, SSL VPN-Plus, is the only secure access platform to eliminate the barriers that have kept SSL VPNs from replacing IPSec VPNs. With SSL VPN-Plus, enterprise of all sizes and leading suppliers of firewalls and other edge-facing devices can overcome the performance, scalability and application-access constraints that limit conventional SSL VPNs. NeoAccel's patent-pending Intelligent Connection Acceleration Architecture (ICAA) enables full-application secure access with LAN-like performance for mobile users and wireless LANs without the complexities associated with IPSec VPNs.
The Info Security Products Guide plays a vital role in keeping end-users informed of choices they can make when it comes to protecting their digital resources. It is written especially for those who are adamant on staying informed of security threats and the preventative measures they can take. The Info Security Products Guide Awards recognises and honors excellence in all areas of information security. |
